A friend of mine says, “people come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” That’s been a helpful guide for me.

I care about all my friends in my heart even the ones I don’t speak to again, i just wish they know this.

Painful but true.

"It’s funny how you can still carry someone in your mind without needing anything from them. They don’t show up in your messages, but they live in how you answer certain questions, or how you think about certain things. That doesn’t mean you miss them. It just means they left an impression and impressions don’t always fade when contact ends."

This paragraph describes me and my university besties.

God sent post tbh

A particular long term friendship of mine has been fading off. Maybe we have different say on things, little little things also caused the drift. But not everything is meant to be spoken about, since we’re on different sides of the coin now. Buh yeah, there’s been a whole trying to work it out buh it’s not. So yeah we’re cordial I’ll say. Thank you for this one, needed the clarity.

Perfect description of how certain persons stopped being a part of my life and vice-versa. It's best not to hold on to what's already obviously over.

In A Course in Miracles, our relationship to others and things is always the time they last, never longer or shorter. What it is, it is. It's a cool way to look at it, in my humble opinion. ;)

Sometimes it's just brushing against someone. It's about trusting that whatever it is, it's supposed to be.
